Kevin Guyan is a Research Fellow in the School of Culture and Creative Arts at the University of Glasgow. Ideas presented in this Foreword are based on Guyan’s book Queer Data: Using Gender, Sex and Sexuality Data for Action (Bloomsbury Academic, 2022), which examines the collection, analysis and use of gender, sex and sexuality data, particularly as it relates to LGBTQ people in the UK.
