Lobby In/Policy Out? Assessing Lobbyist Influence on the GDPR

This contribution demonstrates to what extent lobbyists were successful in shaping the contents of the General Data Protection Regulation. By comparing the different versions submitted by the EU institutions to position papers, this contribution shows that key concepts in the GDPR were first introduced by interest representatives.
